The Aftermarket division organised the first Annual Sales Conference in April, 2018. The conference
was held to review the FY2017-18 and prepare the strategic plan for FY 2018-19. The conference was
attended by around 40 sales members from across India. Held in the backdrop of the Himalayas, of
Himachal Pradesh, providing a rejuvenating environment for the attendees to brainstorm and
finalise a lucrative plan. On the first day, the New Product Development team (NPD) conducted a
brief product training with special focus on Lighting, Filter and Cables. New products were
showcased to the sales members and a cross-learning opportunity was created.
The Second day started with presentations by Mr Sanjay Bhagat, Executive Vice President, Lumax
Auto Technologies Limited and the aftermarket division to motivate and encourage the team to gear
up for future challenges. Followed by the strategy presentations by products managers,
Marketing/NPD presentation by Mr Amit Sen Makhija, Head-Marketing & NPD and sales
presentation from Northern and Southern region. The day was culminated to an entertaining
evening where all team members interacted beyond work.
The third day was an exciting day, filled with adventure and fun, wherein team building physical
activities were planned to create the spirit of camaraderie amongst the participants. Post these
exciting early morning activities, the teams made their respective presentations. Sales team from
Western and Eastern region, Accessories Division, CRM, Sourcing, EDP, and Human Resource
Department presented. Final concluding presentation was by Mr. Rakesh Arora, Head-Sales and on
All India Sales presentation. To mark the end of the day, a dinner around the bonfire, spreading
warmth, spirit of camaraderie and oneness. Exciting fun-filled activities were organised on the last
day, with a hiking trip to the Sanjeevani Temple.
